Plan Apart

Terms

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 May 2026

These terms apply to your use of Plan Apart (the "service"). By creating an account, you agree to them. We've tried to keep the language plain.

Who can use it

The service is intended for software teams and the individuals on them. You must be at least 16 years old. Your workspace owner is responsible for the actions of users they invite.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Don't share a single account between multiple people; invite each person to your workspace instead.

Acceptable use

Don't:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Beta service

Plan Apart is currently in beta. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or disappear without notice. We try hard to avoid data loss but cannot guarantee against it. Don't use the service to store information you can't afford to lose.

Pricing and billing

Free during beta. We'll give signed-in account owners at least 30 days' notice before introducing paid plans, and any pricing changes thereafter will be announced in advance.

Third-party integrations

Connecting your workspace to Linear, Jira, or other third parties is optional. When you connect one, you authorise us to read and write data on your behalf within the scopes you approve. Their respective terms also apply to data we exchange with them.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime by emailing hello@planapart.app. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days unless required to retain it (currently nothing applies).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms when our practices change. We'll email signed-in account owners about material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the English courts, except where consumer protection laws give you the right to choose your local jurisdiction.
